Gucci prides itself on being 100% made in Italy. Check your pieces—we’d be surprised if any of them aren’t made in Italy. All its products are manufactured in Prato, a town just outside of Florence, where the brand’s headquarters are located. Basically, they are not made with materials that can last for decades, even with regular service. Gucci sneakers wear down much faster and they’re irreparable due to how they are constructed. So if they wear down in a couple of years, they are permanently damaged and can never be repaired.
